German excellence meets Barcelona
Academic Partnership
Our English-language degree programme, B.A. International Business, based in Barcelona, is accredited by Heilbronn University.
We adhere to the framework conditions and requirements defined by the Bologna Process for bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes.
We participate in university-wide surveys and evaluations of our students, which cover all organisational areas of the dual study model in addition to the core elements of teaching and research.
Quality development and management ensure the highest standards for our processes and for the accreditation of our teaching staff. These are supported by internal and external audits.

Excellent German School abroad
In 2019, fedaEDU Business School in Spain (Barcelona) was awarded the quality label “Excellent German School Abroad” following an external quality certification process.
For this purpose, fedaEDU Barcelona underwent a comprehensive quality inspection by the Central Agency for German Schools Abroad (ZfA).
Using the worldwide quality management system applied in 135 German schools abroad — the Federal-Länder Inspection (BLI) — fedaEDU was systematically and data-driven evaluated. As part of this extensive process, school inspectors from the German federal states, together with a federal school inspector, assessed the school on site. They found, among other things, that the quality of teaching, cooperation processes, and overall school satisfaction are at an excellent level. For these outstanding results, the school was awarded the quality seal.
fedaEDU is also supported by non-profit educational associations.
Our students obtain German, national, and international qualifications that provide access to universities and higher education institutions worldwide.

WHAT OUR STUDENTS SAY

“The experience of completing a dual vocational training program at fedaEDU, combining theory and practice, enabled me to acquire the necessary skills and a comprehensive understanding of how a company operates. The teachers at fedaEDU are excellent, and the partner companies place great importance on ensuring that trainees gain experience in different departments in order to understand the role and significance of each area. After graduation, my training and trilingual skills gave me a clear competitive advantage in the job market. I can wholeheartedly recommend fedaEDU, as students benefit from a unique system that enables them to gain professional experience in leading companies.”

“After completing my vocational training as an Industrial Management Assistant at ASET, I studied European Business Administration in Münster and Madrid. In 2002, I began my career at Volkswagen AG in Production Controlling. After four years, I moved into Human Resources, first as an Assistant and later as Head of HR Reporting and Controlling for the Volkswagen Group. In 2020, I became HR Director at Volkswagen’s plant in Navarra, Spain. A little over three years later, I joined the Executive Management Team of Brose Sitech Group, a joint venture between Volkswagen and Brose. Thanks to my extensive international experience, I was given the opportunity to lead the Human Resources department for Research and Development at Traton in Sweden.”

“I am a strong advocate of dual vocational training because it combines practice and theory perfectly. In my opinion, that was exactly the major advantage I had: when I joined SEAT, I was able to start working immediately because I had already gained practical experience and also possessed the necessary theoretical knowledge.”

““The opportunity to combine theoretical instruction with practical experience in a company, while rotating through different departments and gaining first-hand insight into internal processes, is one of the best ways to enter the professional world. You not only acquire new professional skills but also develop personal competencies such as time management, effective communication, and the efficient organization of business processes to reduce errors.”

“I am convinced that dual vocational training is the best path into professional life. The work-integrated degree program at fedaEDU allows students to combine theory and practice and apply their knowledge from the very first year. The fact that courses are offered in three languages and combined with practical modules ensures a smooth transition into the labor market and helps students focus on their desired career field. After graduating, I was able to continue working for my training company and have been part of the project department at headquarters for the past two years.”

“My time at fedaEDU was transformative, as it combined academic knowledge with practical experience in leading companies. The opportunity to earn two qualifications—a vocational qualification and a university degree—in a trilingual environment while completing company internships gave me a decisive competitive advantage in the labor market after graduation. I would particularly highlight the rotation programs, which allow students to work in different departments and gain a comprehensive perspective on their future career path from the very beginning. This holistic experience prepared me exceptionally well to face the challenges of the professional world with confidence.”

“My time at fedaEDU was both transformative and fundamental to my professional development. The work-integrated degree program allowed me to combine theory and practice from the first year onward, providing valuable insights into how companies operate and which skills are most in demand in the labor market. The cooperation between fedaEDU and Lidl gave me the opportunity to complete internships in different departments and build important professional connections that facilitated my entry into the workforce. Although studying and working at the same time requires significant commitment, I am convinced that this educational model is the best option for anyone seeking to achieve their professional goals.”

“By completing a work-integrated degree program that combines theory and practice, I was able to apply the knowledge acquired at university directly within a company environment. The small student groups encouraged intensive and personalized learning. Of course, balancing work and studies requires a high level of effort and dedication, but in my case it was well worth it, as my university degree enabled me to pursue a career in consulting. In summary, my experience during the program was extremely positive, valuable, and highly recommendable. With effort and perseverance, you can achieve your goals.”

“For me, a work-integrated degree program is the best way to enter the professional world. This study format allows you to understand how companies operate from day one and provides the opportunity to put everything learned at university directly into practice. Upon graduation, you not only earn a university degree but also gain several years of professional experience and proficiency in three languages—qualities that are highly valued by employers and that gave my career a significant boost from the very beginning.”

“Through the close connections between fedaEDU and numerous international companies, students gain access to an extensive and valuable professional network that, together with a strong theoretical and practical education, ensures a successful transition into the labor market. fedaEDU also benefits from highly motivated teachers who maintain very close contact with students. Given the small class sizes, teaching can be flexible and tailored to the students’ individual needs and their practical training within companies.”

“My training at fedaEDU gave me the opportunity to gain practical experience at an early stage and to find my professional direction. Rotating through several departments not only helped me gain experience and discover the areas I enjoyed most, but also enabled me to introduce myself to various managers. Despite the challenging economic situation in Spain at the time, this ultimately helped me secure a job.”

“For me, dual vocational training was a fantastic experience because it combines theory and practice. A dual vocational training program allows students to gain a much closer understanding of the realities of working life and to recognize the practical value of what they are learning. As a result, theoretical knowledge becomes far more meaningful because it can be applied directly in a real professional environment.”
